Yummy Snacks + Girls’ Night Out

Yummy Snacks + Girls' Night Out

This week has been a pretty good one! It’s been super productive and it feels good to get back on track. Cole has the day off today so my weekend is starting a little early, which is nice. We have some fun things planned, but not before I post last week’s recap!

Last Friday

Last Friday I wasn’t feeling the best in the morning. I make an effort not to work from my bed but I caved and let myself. In the afternoon I drove out to my parents’ house to pick up some packages. Included was the Tone It Up Love with Food Subscription Box*! These boxes are such a great idea for any household. Inside are tons of healthy snacks to choose from! I have been loving the box (especially the Tone It Up Blueberry Coconut Protein Bar and the Peanut Butter Chocolate RXBAR) and Cole has too. I have been throwing snacks into his lunches each day which has been so easy! There is a nice selection of snacks to choose from so if you want to get this box you should order fast! Then Cole and I just spent the night relaxing and catching up on Riverdale.

I spent most of the day Saturday working on a writing assignment I had due on Monday. For dinner I made cauliflower wings for the first time which turned out pretty good! After dinner I went out and visited my family for a bit and then Sam and I went out for a girls’ night. We went downtown for drinks and appetizers, which was really fun!

Sunday was spent doing some more work. I ended up napping in the afternoon and then spent the evening doing a face mask and relaxing!

Monday morning Cole and I ran some errands before he had class. Then, I did some work until about 5. I then treated myself to a bubble bath before making dinner and relaxing for the evening.

Tuesday was a super cold/snowy day. I put together a vegetable soup in the slow cooker that morning and made some cheesy garlic muffins to go with it. I then just spent the rest of the day catching up on writing.

Wednesday was another full day spent on the computer writing. Not very exciting, but it needed to be done! My evening was pretty eventful too – I just watched Cole play a video game while I browsed Pinterest before going to bed early.

Yesterday I spent the morning catching up on emails. I did some writing in the afternoon and into the evening. Cole and I watched Riverdale while we had dinner and just hung out for the night.
