With more people hitting the gym thanks to New Years’ resolutions, I thought it might be fun to share what essentials I like to keep in my gym bag! Here is a look at what I can’t live without:
I can’t workout without listening to music. It’s the only thing that keeps me going and these Beats by Dre are my absolute favourite! They look pretty and sound even better. The headphones are so comfortable to wear and they’re wireless so I don’t have to worry about a headphone cord getting tangled up while I’m on the treadmill.
I have the Charge 3 and I absolutely love it! It’s super comfortable to wear and I not-so-secretly love that the rose gold tracker matches my headphones. It tracks everything from my weight, my steps taken, calories burned, calories consumed, and water intake so I can stay on track with my goals.
Caudalie Beauty Elixir
Post workout I prefer to come home and shower. I’m usually a sweaty mess though and love keeping this mist in my bag for when I’m done. It feels so nice on the skin and gives my skin a healthy looking glow until I get home. I also get frequent headaches when I work out (cardio especially) so I find the minty scent really helps my headache from escalating.
I like working out with my hair up, as I’m sure most of you do too. These Invisibobble hair elastics are my favourite! They hold my super-thick hair so well and they don’t leave me with the dreaded ponytail bump if I want to let my hair down as I’m leaving the gym.
I put deodorant on before working out but always like to keep one in my gym bag just in case I need a little extra post workout. Recently I have been testing out the No Pong All Natural Deodorant* and am pretty impressed. The scent is light and fresh, plus it’s good for your skin. While I sometimes need a little touch up post workout if I have had a particularly sweaty session; for the most part this holds up well during my workout and daily life.
