Welcome to my new lifestyle blog!
Whether you’ve followed me from my previous blog (thank you so much for sticking around) or are brand new, I really appreciate you stopping by! I have been a beauty blogger for the last three and a half years. As much as I love beauty, there is so much more to my life so I wanted to create a space where I could do exactly that.
I’m really excited for this fresh start and hope you are too! On At Home with Elisabeth you will find tons of recipes, wellness content, outfit inspiration, fitness posts, with some beauty content sprinkled in. I’m really excited about this and hope that you guys will enjoy what I have in store!
I wanted to start off by sharing some facts about myself to help you get to know me better. It’s not something I did much of in the past on my previous blog but something I really want to change!
I’m from Ontario, Canada
I have lived in the same town my entire life. There have been times throughout my life where I have wanted to move, but I think I’m pretty content with where I am living.
I freelance write for work
Right now I blog and freelance write for a couple of different companies right now. I have always had a passion for writing and am thankful to be in this position; especially since I went to school for office administration!
My family and friends are super important to me
I’m very close with my family and friends and love spending time with them. My mom is my best friend and I’m always going to her for advice!
I have a boyfriend
My boyfriend Cole and I have been together nearly nine months at this point. We live together and he makes me so happy!
I’m a homebody
I love staying in, which inspired the name of my blog. I love all things cozy and really thrive in my own space!
I’m pretty shy
I’m super quiet at first and like to keep to myself. I want to break out of my shell more though, and that’s what this blog is going to be for!
I’m really passionate about mental health and wellness
I have anxiety and seasonal depression. Sometimes I have it under control and other times not, so mental health has become a real priority of mine in the last couple years especially. I never really talk about it but it’s something I want to do more this year!
I love to cook
I have a lot of digestion issues and food intolerance so cooking at home is something I try to do a lot of so I can feel my best. Not only that, but cooking helps relax me and I love that food brings people together.
Well, there’s a start! Thank you so much for stopping by. Let me know a little bit about you in a comment below!
